OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH SERVICES

Improving Workplace Health and Safety comes from long-term improvements that usually stem from negative outcome situations. The development of Site-Specific Environmental Safety and Health Programs anticipates these negative situations and determines the best approach to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. As with any quality tool, this tool is only as good as its operator.

A.C.T. can assist in documenting Health and Safety Programs through the development of Policy and Procedure Manuals to form an effective Health and Safety Management System. The Policy Manual can be developed to complement existing documentation, such as hazardous energy control, lock-out/tag-out procedures, personal protective equipment and environmental issues.

A.C.T. can perform Risk assessments, in relation to many types of situations and workplaces. Risk Assessments are intended to objectively identify hazards that could injure a person and use a risk analysis technique, quantify the degree of risk. Once the risk has been quantified, the appropriate level of control can be introduced to bring high levels of risk to a level that is less likely to cause injury.

To further compliment our Occupational Safety and Health Services, A.C.T. can perform a variety of independent services such as:
